We are on the lookout for an Innovation Consultant to join our team in Amsterdam. This role is for those who can see beyond the horizon and can navigate the complexities of innovation in a corporate setting while keeping the agility and mindset of a startup. You will be responsible for building ventures from vision to viable, market-ready solutions.

The Opportunity

As an Innovation Consultant, you will be an integral part of the oneUp team and will work directly with clients from industries such as food, fashion, and finance on topics like GenAI, Web3, Circularity, Culture, Membership and Loyalty, and others.

This role is a unique blend of strategic leadership and practical execution, perfect for someone who enjoys navigating the complexities of venture creation and likes to get their hands dirty.

Your Role

• Drive the innovation process from problem identification to solution conception and validation through the successful launch of a new venture, ensuring that solutions are not only desirable but also viable and feasible.
• Help the client make evidence-based decisions and ensure commitment to proceed with solutions in case validation results are positive.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at our clients.

What We Look For

• 2+ years of relevant experience in venture building, innovation, or in a similar role within a corporate or startup environment.
• Proven expertise in lean startup and design-thinking, with a track record of developing solutions with tangible impact and strategic fit.
• The ability to work in ambiguous situations and the resilience to meet the demands of entrepreneurial ventures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Capable of steering different profiles towards a unified goal.
• Can speak Dutch at a proficient level (this is a must!).
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
