Freelance Growth Marketer - skillUp

We are looking for a Growth Marketer to be in the driver's seat of skillUp, our own innovation academy designed to teach innovators how to develop, validate and scale their ideas.

You create impact by executing our growth strategy, which consists of:

• Our growth roadmap: brainstorming on the best ideas for growth, ranking ideas, and developing experiments. 
• Growth Hacking: running experiments, analysing, iterating and scaling if the experiment is successful.

Responsibilities

• You set up digital and social media campaigns with the right audience, testing and optimising as necessary.
• You analyse campaigns by paying attention to the right metrics (beyond impressions, conversions, CTR and CPM ). You know which metrics are valuable.
• You easily translate those metrics into accurate analytics and insights that show how the campaign is impacting the target audience. You use these insights to continuously optimise and improve impact.
• You create, manage, implement, and optimise budgets for digital media.
• You know how to conduct A/B tests and adjust your campaigns according to the results achieved.
• You identify opportunities and develop new ideas and experiences
• You work with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Semrush, Hotjar, Unbounce, Hubspot/Mailchimp, Zapier, Shopify and others.
• You advertise on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn like it's your second home. Diving into other advertising platforms is the boost you need in life.
• You know how to research to gain valuable insights that fuel creativity.

Get to know the people you will be working with

You will work intensively with the skillUp team, a small team composed of a Product Owner and a Lead Facilitator. skillUp is a spin-off of oneUp, an innovation agency based in Amsterdam, so you will have the opportunity to work either remotely or with the oneUp team in Amsterdam. oneUp serves a wide range of clients, from Tommy Hilfiger and Rabobank to Unilever and DSM, so you'll have access to a variety of world-class use cases to showcase to the world.

We'd love to hear that you:

• Have about 2 years of experience in a similar role and enjoy experimenting, testing and optimising
• Are data driven and comfortable with analytics
• Have a good understanding of growth marketing (can you say AAARRR?)
• Like to work in a smaller organisation/startup environment
• Have sense of ownership and take responsibility 
• Are willing to fail on the way to success
